Ceragem Beds are designed for long term uses without any major break down. But tender care and good maintenance are necessary. These are some recommendations:

* It is better to connect the CeraBed to a external switch (such as a portable 6-outlet) before connecting to the wall outlet and turn on / off the bed at this switch to avoid sparks at the Bed switch.

* Never pull the connector cables (cable to the remote control, light projectors)

* Do not use the CeraBeds continuously for a long period of time (a 10 minute break time is preferable)

* Do not use the Bed when wearing wet clothes

* Take out your belts and your shoes before using the Beds

* Do not sit on Part A (your upper body area of the beds)

* Do not let children jump on beds nor play with them

* Keep the Beds away from water or any liquid

* Take some time off after meals before using the Beds (1 or 2 hours is good)

* Pregnant women and persons with pacemaker (Machine device for Heart) as well as person with the weight of more than 300 lbs should never use the Beds.

* It is recommended to have the Beds inspected every 2 yrs to ensure the good working condition of the beds.

The CeraBeds have 3 main parts:

- Part A (your upper body area of the beds)

- Part B (Patients' legs area of the beds) .

- The Frame,

Most of the time and for most of the problems, only Part A and the remote control are needed to be brought to the Ceragem Santa Ana Center for repairs. Please call the Ceragem Santa Ana Center for more information before coming to the Store.
